The UKB LS consists of a customizable housing, an inverted rupture disk, and a three-section knife. When the specified burst pressure is reached, the rupture disk bursts open towards the knife. The rupture disk and housing are micro-welded, and all components are made of metal, ensuring maximum airtightness. A maximum leakage rate of 10^-10 is achievable. With various types of connections available, we provide pressure relief units that perfectly fit any application, including high-purity processes. REMBE's unique graphite rupture disk is a product that boasts high performance and reliability characteristic of REMBE. It is designed to withstand highly corrosive media, low pressure, and high temperatures. All rupture disks manufactured by REMBE, including the graphite rupture disk, are made in Germany. The maximum operating pressure of the graphite rupture disk is 80% of the minimum burst pressure*. REMBE's graphite rupture disks are suitable for high temperatures due to a unique chemical vapor deposition method called "PyC coating (pyrolytic carbon)." They can operate under oxidizing and reducing atmospheres from -180 °C to +500 °C, and under inert conditions, they can withstand temperatures up to +1,500 °C. Even with the addition of vacuum support, the aforementioned operating conditions are maintained. Depending on the application and pipe nominal diameter, the rupture disk can be directly installed between flanges. It is also possible to incorporate a signaling device into existing control systems to notify of disk reactions. For burst pressures ranging from 20 mbarg to 63 barg, the pipe nominal diameter can accommodate from DN 15 to DN 600. *This may vary depending on the application.
